There he is, in moody black and white,
in front of some books.
Dylan is a half Polish, half English author-illustrator based in London.
For years he lived life as a mild-mannered art director in the ad-world, coming up with ideas for all sorts of clients. Now he spends his time coming up with ideas for picture books and scrawling away creating quirky illustrations. He illustrates with bold colours and simple lines, cut and torn paper shapes mixed with ink squiggles. Dylan is influenced by the classic picture-book heroes, Munari, Aliki and Graboff along with the great poster makers Saul Bass and Paul Rand.

Dylan was a runner up for the Andersen Premio Award (3-6) and selected for the BRAW amazing bookshelf. He was also selected for the Dpictus 100 Outstanding Picture Books. Hurrah.
